Welcome!  My name is Emma Gordon; I set this page up to give all my friends, family and sponsors a a chance to fallow my ride.  From June 13th to August 17th, I will be embarking on a bike ride with 9 other individuals from San Francisco CA to Washington DC.  It is a 10 week ride for community service and activism in order to empower marginalized communities. 

Along the way we will stop in 63 cities to work on a local level, doing communtity service projects with local groups dedicated to relating causes.  Moreover, the other riders and I will be attending workshops and trainings through out the summer to enhance our understanding of the social, economic, and political realities we will be encountering.

This web site is for all of you to see what we are doing.  I have set up a forum and a message board for anyone to communicate with me.  I would love to hear from you!
